Ok, so what girl doesn’t love gold? Now picture a specially commissioned, super-trendy house in Los Angeles created by the World Gold Council which is FULL of GOLD jewellery! Yup, I spent all morning yesterday at the LoveGold house and (obviously) I loved it! Take a tour and discover 12 of my favourite pieces – and don’t forget to tell me which one’s you like best in the comments below!
1. AZVA’s LITTLE GOLD HEART
I won’t lie, I was quite proud to see so many Indian brands on display at the Love Gold house and this little gold heart from the Azva collection totally stole mine. Isn’t it darling? I’m wearing it with my Nupur Kanoi jumpsuit to the Spirit Awards today along with two other Azva pieces I loved, yay!
2. SPRING CUFF BY AZVA
I think this spiral gold Azva cuff is amazing don’t you? It’s also super versatile and can go from Indian to Western in a heartbeat.
3. Azva STATEMENT NECKPIECE
This gorgeous bold neckpiece works brilliantly with a cocktail dress (and as you will soon see – even jumpsuits!) Rest assured you will always draw compliments for a piece like this, (my only word of caution would be to let the neckpiece be the star and keep the rest of the outfit colours earthy, subtle and complimentary.)
4. Baby Blue Sandy Leong
This serene blue Sandy Leong turquoise and gold ring seemed like the perfect statement to give my office chic a little glam, dontchya think?
5. Beautiful Boucheron
This classic Boucheron gold cuff was the talk of the LoveGold house. I tried it on too and felt very posh next to those dragon flowers :)
(Btw, I was totally tempted to stop and high five the display statue as I admired all the glitter!)
6. SHAUN LEANE Ring Tips
This gold Shaun Leane ring gave me a distinctly “warrior princess” vibe. I love! Isn’t it just the perfect shape?
7. The AmRAPALI ADA
Another score for India’s popular jewellery empire. These detailed hoops were so delicate and intricate, I’d love to rock these with a little black dress!
8, THe DIAMOND BUG
The Silvia Furmanovich diamond bug ring makes a super cute statement! I’d love to wear this to lunch with the girls :) and boys please note – these are the ONLY kind of bugs we like. The diamond-studded kind!
9. MUNNU-MENTAL, THE GEM PALACE
Munnu‘s chunky gold disc collar by the Gem Palace? Undeniably bold and beautiful. What would you pair it with? I’d look for something with a hint of blue and keep the ears and fingers bare.
10. Mizuki to my ears
See what I did there? :P Also, kind of a cool way to remind yourself what a star you are, eh? :)
11. Zoe ChiCCO
I’m big fan of delicate and simple jewellery, so much of Zoe Chicco‘s collection was totally up my alley, especially this darling arrow bracelet!
12. THE PHANTOM BY HOORSENBUHS
For some reason my eyes kept being drawn to this Hoorsenbuhs trademark link chain and phantom ring… beautiful right?
I’m told the abstract H-setting symbolizes strength, quality, and opulence. Well I don’t mind if I do! In fact, that’s what I wore to the Jared Leto pre-Oscar party last night with my Gaurav Gupta glitter coat :)
(It’s perfect because, just like the Phantom, GG’s coat also has its own “stealth mode” appearance, perfect for stalking celebrities you see!) Click here to get this look.
Also loving the emerald studded green & gold cuff Sally Morrison (MD Jewellery, WGC) told you about in our video (coming soon)!
Later, the World Gold Council team took us to this super cool artsy space called Just One Eye where more Hoorsenbuhs jewellery was on display. Plus yet another phantom cuff! this time with cool link-chain extensions on the back, so neat!
I totally loved their link-chain jewellery display cases and these candy-hued rhinos worth $15,000 each!
Now stay tuned for my next blog on our visit to the quaint and gorgeous vintage Platt Boutique!
Psst! This 18Karat gold magpie necklace is still up for grabs so hurry and tell me why you love gold too :) xoxo
