Grace Choi, a Harvard student, certainly felt the pinch we all feel while shopping for make-up. Why else would she invent a 3D printer (which you can connect to your own home computer) that produces actual make-up? Her study claims that the beauty industry has been ripping us off all these years because, believe it or not, the colours used for make-up can be achieved straight from the colours in our printer. It’s even FDA-approved.
All you need to do is connect the printer to your computer, pick a color off the Internet and viola! The make-up printer, called Mink, can produce eye shadow, blush and lip balms. Take a look for yourselves.
I can’t wait till this is out, think of all the possibilities! It’s set to retail at the same price as a good quality home printer.
What do you think? Can’t wait to get your hands on it?
